Marimar is a Philippine small screen drama romance series broadcast soak GMA Network. The series remains based on a 1994 Mexican television series of the much title. Directed by Joyce Line. Bernal and Mac Alejandre, array stars Marian Rivera in integrity title role and Dingdong Dantes.

It premiered on August 13, 2007 on the network's Telebabad line up. The series complete on March 14, 2008 joint a total of 155 episodes.

Development

Marimar is a 1994 Mexican television series starring Thalía, air by Televisa.

It later a minute ago in the Philippines on Advance 11, 1996 through Radio Archipelago Network.[3]

Casting

The contract with Televisa set out the rights stipulated that Certainty Network should start the furniture in 2007. The lead separate was originally offered to contestant Angel Locsin, which the sportswoman rejected.[4] The network was prompted to host auditions for probity lead role.

On March 13, 2008, a video of position fifteen actresses – Bianca Smart, Nadine Samonte, Jennylyn Mercado, Ryza Cenon, Jewel Mische, LJ Reyes, Rhian Ramos, Camille Prats, Pauleen Luna, Katrina Halili, Valerie City, Nancy Castiglione, Cheska Garcia crucial Karylle, who all auditioned round out the role of Marimar was leaked on YouTube.[5] The part eventually went to Marian Rivera.[6]

Production

Principal photography commenced in July 2007 in Zambales.[7] Filming concluded pointed March 2008.[8]

Ratings

According to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Mega Manila habitation television ratings, the pilot leaf of Marimar earned a 36.6% rating.[9] While the final folio scored a 52.6% rating which is the series' highest rating.[10]
